It's Spring - I'm sure it's spring

I really shouldn't complain about winter, I missed two months of it, but I'm so happy to see spring.  To be able to go outside and not look like the Michelin man, to be able to sit in the sun and read, to be able to work in the garden.  I love spring in the country.

We went for a walk in the woods yesterday and the wild leeks are everywhere.  In a week I'm sure it'll look like a carpet.

They're so delicate. Almost secretive the way they push their way up between dry leaves, twigs, and pieces of bark.

There was something else growing, a purple plant.  No idea what it is.  If anyone knows please tell me.
